Guard booth

Why is it that the security booth always seemed to be empty? Or is it just that when I am around, they are not occupied? Admittedly on occasions I see the guard there, used to be elderly Malay men, then some Myanmars and Bangladeshi (who seems not to be able to communicate in Malay or English, I wonder why they are there at all), and now I see a senior Chinese man. But empty guard booth have been observed, especially in the morning.

Hi, do u live here too?

I am so glad at least some one elso too noticed the weird management here!

It's ok they have different races/nationality as the guard here. But the thing is, any outsiders are allowed to enter to this compound freely, without being question or at least take down their names. Selesmans came to knock the door, outsiders came to use the swimming pool. It's so unsafe here.
Early this year (2009), heard that the management is going get an autogate or something where by the residents here will have to get a sticker and only with sticker on their vehicles are allowed to enter, but its Nov now, nothing happens at all. Most of all, whats the point to have the guards there?

The inter-com is dead. The management not only did not repair, they even remove the inter-com system from the guard house. So what is the point to have the inter-com phone in the house?

Most of all, whats the point to the monthly maintenance fee?
Other than getting cleaner to clean the compound & deduct the supervisor's salary if 1 plant dies... and cats hanging around, poos around, pees around ....so disgusting. Playground is not well maitain. For the kids to play on sandy ground? that wld be very hurt if they fall..not well planning..It seems like this is really a lousy management.

I live here 2 weeks in a month, usually in the first two weeks of the month, doing my projects in Kuantan and Trengganu.
The management is bad, and I have this strange feeling that they do not really know what they are doing, always trial and error. Never consult the tenants, or anyone in the know either.
